This product is excellent. I have a hard time doing umbrellas at the beach, but not this one I was able to put it up with ease, even on a really windy day. The adjustable mechanisms work great for the wind. The little tool that came with it was so helpful too, in order to twist the umbrella down into the sand.This umbrella is very well made. Easy to put up and take down. Very handy twist rod to secure post in the sand. Good buy.Love this product. Was perfect for our yearly vacation would definitely recommend this to anyone we used it everyday.Easy to put in groundPacks up easy, sets up easyREVISED REVIEW (after using the umbrella at the beach)I ordered this umbrella for use by my wife and I on the beach. It arrived right on schedule, and in time for our beach trip. It was modestly priced (not really, but Jeff Bezos needs more wealth and there has been quite a bit of inflation!) which was an important selection criterion.The auger at the end of the bottom section of the support pole is pretty small. I can screw it into the sand, but only with some difficulty. In addition the pole would be anchored more securely if the auger had some "blades" that extended further from the side of the pole.The greatest problem is that the pole does not stay anchored in the sand. So far after using for three days, the umbrella has been pulled free of the sand anchor by the wind. And the wind has not been that strong; just pretty usual beach winds! I plan to anchor the pole even deeper next time to see if that will provide sufficient anchorage (I hope that burial to 18 inches will be sufficient)The height of the umbrella, or more importantly the clearance it provides once it is anchored in the beach sand, is pretty small. And this is especially true if you bury the pole about 18 inches into the sand.I am disappointed in this product. Would not purchase again.I suggest USING ONLY ON BEACHES THAT HAVE NO WINDLiked the quality, color and functionality of umbrellaThis umbrella has a very good under aluminum color for shade. This came in earlier. Great!Also it is light to carry and I like the “ bag” cover as well.Easy to assemble. Nice spiral point on bottom of umbrella to dig in sand.Very satisfied with the whole thing!Good sun brolley overallLightweight when packed up so easy to carry and also easy to assemble. It did a decent job of keeping the sun off me during the recent heat water.The top tilts 30 degrees in 2 directions ( i.e either fully upright or at a 30 degree tilt but nothing in between).Its very useful to have a tilt to change your shade ad tge sun moves in the sky.Its not designed to be height adjhstable but if you take the metal cross pin out the height CAN be adjusted in practise ( upper pole then held in place only by the white plastic lever arm/ tightenning ring...not sure how long this method will suceed as the product ages- i have only used it 4 times so far). When used as advertised the cross pin sits below the base of the upper pole so there is no way it can slip down inside the bottom pole ( even if the white plastic lever/ grip should fail or grow looser with use)Only issue i encountered is that its difficult/ impossible to get umbrella stable if there lots of buried pebbles in the soil as you then cant push it deep enough into the sand. Same problem on pebbly veaches unless you can buy some kund of water filled bass that you'd then have to carry as well ( howver this is poss samd with all or most brollwys?) I managed to prop it up on a pile of rocks but this trick wouldnt work on a breezy day. There were no guy ropes or " tent pegs" ns included and i think you would need sonething like this on a brewzy day for any sun browy.Overall i reccommendColours are as shown in the picture.Overall i'd say a very practical buy and not excessively expensiveComes with a handle bar (attached to the base with a chain) that allows you to screw the base into sand. Top can be angled if required. Easy to dismantle and to insert in the carry bag.This parasol really keeps the sun out, it has a good screw for putting in to soft ground such as in a garden or a sandy beach. It could do with an addition type base for a pebble beach, we used wire to attach it to a chair to keep it upright on our pebble beeches.A good quality item at a reasonable price. I have now bought a second one. Excellent for shading against the sun. I have yet to try them in the rain.Works perfectly.
